Being active during pregnancy is safe and healthy for you and your baby.
Pilates strengthens your body and improves balance, flexibility, and posture. Studies show that Pilates can significantly strengthen your pelvic floor muscles which support your womb, bladder and bowel and reduce labour pain intensity. Like Yoga, it uses breathing exercise, which can help you relax and control your breathing which is beneficial during labour.
GP clearance is required.
