The Garden Club is time spent in a community garden building a love of nature; it benefits children’s health and well-being and provides quality time for families.
The programme is run for 4 weeks and each session will last for 1 hour.
The programme is suitable for children aged 1 to under 4 years old.

Carer and Toddler groups are based on giving carers and their children a chance to meet other families in the community.
There will be a variety of play resources to make the experience for the children stimulating and enjoyable.
The benefits for carers is the ability to meet other families with children of a similar age.

Children aged 2 – 4 years.
Stretch, move and relax together.
Toddler Yoga will incorporate singing, gentle moves and relaxation. Children will experience traditional yoga poses, turntaking and working with friends.
Children will also gain confidence and self-esteem through repetition and also gain self-regulation skills with the aid of breathing techniques. This is a fun, interactive programme with life-time benefits.

Messy Play is an important part of early education. It offers many opportunities for learning.
Messy Play Programme involves children taking the lead, whilst using all their senses in the process of discovery, especially the sense of touch.
Children are offered the opportunity to mould and manipulate materials, helping to develop their fine motor skills.
Children will be given the tools to develop and practice fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Activities such as stacking, pouring and spooning will develop hand-eye coordination. Practice cutting, writing in shaving cream and using tongs will develop fine motor skills. Hands-on activities will provide opportunities for children to compare textures such as smooth, rough, hard and soft.
The programme runs as one off sessions over various months each session is for 1 hour.
The programme is suitable for children aged 1 to under 4 years old.

Introduces parents and children aged under 4 years to the wonder of exploring instruments through songs, rhymes and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others and providing a good foundation to develop all areas of the development. They have fun with singing songs, listening to stories, and learning new skills using musical instruments. Not to mention having lots of fun as well! Under 4 year olds

Outdoor play allows children to be creative and use their imagination in exploring the great outdoors - exploring and having lots of fun climbing trees, hunting for leaves, puddle jumping and going on bear hunts! This type of play helps children with their problem-solving skills, it raises their resilience, self-esteem and self-confidence. As part of outdoor play it can be expected that the weather is constantly changing and this in itself can be exciting for children. The sensory experiences of crunchy leaves, jumping in puddles and listening and feeling different types of weather can provide great learning experiences.
